12 Dec Trip To Visit New Baby
The Newest Addition!
As those of you have known, the staff and I have been eagerly awaiting to hear news of the birth of Dr. Melissa Eek’s first baby. Well, the wait is over! The little man was born Oct. 28th and came in at 7lbs 2 oz, not bad for her first baby. Of course, I couldn’t wait to meet this little guy, so along with my mom, my sister, and our 3 little ones, we went off on a grand adventure to PEI. While it wasn’t the warmest of weather out there, and the wind was something of movies, it most definitely is a beautiful place. But less about the place and more about this baby. He was just the sweetest little guy, big beautiful eyes and so much hair. He seemed so small and it made me wonder if my little Roz was ever that little! I got some good baby time in, even was given the honour of babysitting one evening (I forgot that sometimes babies only want THEIR mom). All in all, it was a great trip and satisfied my need to see my newest little nephew. We have been watching him grow through pictures, he is changing so fast… and did I mention, he has his mommy’s eyes.
